When the copy was rebound, the bookplate of the William H. Welch Medical Library, indicating the book was the gift of Hugh H. Young, was saved and pasted to the front pastedown. There is also a notation on the verso of the title page, dated June 11, 1934, stating the copy was a gift of Hugh Young (see photos). Heirs of Hippocrates 1181.
