Full brown calf with raised spine bands, gilt rules, titles & decorations, blind stamp device front panel, all edges gilt, sewn-in silk book mark, green moire silk endsheets; 4to; 296pp; illustrated with tipped-in color photograph of Garrison as frontispiece; text drawings and original signed pencil remarque by Robert Seaman on half-title page plus photos by Matthew Vinciguerra & Luis Marden; onion skin dust jacket; housed in half leather and marbled paper clamshell box, titled in gilt on spine and with unique leather pull tab pouch containing a small section of a Garrison bamboo rod; limited to 128 numbered (#60) copies. This copy inscribed twice by Carmichael and more notably to fellow bamboo rod builder, Douglas Duck. Minor repairs to interior corners of box, otherwise in collectible condition.
