First edition. Green cloth lettered in silver. A little light wear, very good lacking the dust jacket. Signed by Reed on the titlepage. V.S. Pritchett's copy with small label on the front pastedown. Poet's first book, and his only book published in his lifetime, includes the important poem "The Naming of Parts" in his WWII cycle "Lessons of the War," as well as his send-up of T.S.
