Handsomely bound in blue cloth spine stamped brightly in white; and brown paper-covered boards.The inscription by Condon on the front endpaper has partially bled onto the front paste-down. But a splendid copy overall. In a complete and near-fine dust jacket with the $4.50 price. With a touch of wear to the top and bottom of the spine ends. Scarce, with the signed inscription. Basis for the United Artist 1962 film directed by John Frankenheimer that starred Laurence Harvey as Raymond Shaw, and Frank Sinatra as Ben Marco, and Janet Leigh. Raymond Shaw was the walking time bomb of this famous cold-war thriller. First Edition (Stated on the copyright page) 1959.
