Item description from seller

First edition, first printing. Hardback in dustwrapper. 22.5 × 14.5cm, 40pp. This copy signed and dedicated to the title page by Edward Storey to Harry Chambers, "Signed for Harry Chambers 'Keeper of the flame', Edward Storey, 9.2.78". Harry Chambers (1937-2012) was a highly influential British publisher, editor, and the driving force behind Peterloo Poets. Seamus Heaney memorably described him as one of the great "hearers and hearteners" of British and Irish poetry. Edward Storey's second volume of poetry which immerses itself in the isolation and stark beauty of the flat Fenland country. Condition: The book itself is in very good condition, with some light dusting to the pages' top edge. The dustwrapper foxed and tanned to all edges with a small area of loss to the top edge of the front panel but has not been price-clipped and is now within a protective sleeve.
