One uncorrected proof signed on the dedication page by John Barry, one first edition, first impression, signed on the half-title by John Barry, and one limited edition signed by Fleming and John Barry. The copies signed by Barry were for the composer and lyricist Leslie Bricusse and has his additional annotations identifying the inscriptions or signatures. Bricusse (1931-2021) was the lyricist for the Bond songs "Goldfinger" and "You Only Live Twice". His musicals include Stop the World - I Want to Get Off, Doctor Dolittle, Scrooge, and Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. He won two Academy Awards and one Grammy Award, and was awarded the Order of the British Empire. Gilbert A11a. 3 works, octavo. Uncorrected proof: original green wrappers pattered with publisher's device, spine and covers lettered in black. First edition: original brown boards (Gilbert's Binding C), spine lettered in silver, white ski track design on front cover. With dust jacket. Signed limited edition: original quarter vellum, spine lettered in gilt, black sides, ski track decoration to front cover in white, top edge gilt. With original acetate jacket. Uncorrected proof: annotated "15" on front wrapper, blue marginal ink annotation to p. 19. Some foxing to edges, creases to spine, extremities a little rubbed: a very good copy. First edition: head and foot of spine slightly bumped, some minor marks to binding, foxing to edges; extremities of unclipped jacket a little worn with several closed tears, small red ink mark to rear panel: a very good copy in like jacket. Signed limited edition: tiny spots to edges. A near-fine copy.
