A hint of rubbing to the upper corner tips, else very nearly fine in grey linen with silver embossed illustration and titles to the front cover and with silver embossed titles to the spine; in a very good dust jacket with a short tear and rubbed creases to the front panel's upper edge, fading to the spine panel, rubbing to the flap folds and upper spine edge; original printed $12.95 price still intact to the front inner flap. Lael's treatise on the art of the theater features an unusual blend of philosophical concepts, psychological insights, and practical stagecraft. Lael was Brigham Young University Dean, College of Fine Arts. Octavo; 212 pages; annotated bibliography; cited works; index.
