Inscribed by the author to C. Boyd Pfeiffer [author of 'Shad Fishing' etc.], whose copy this is; "For C. Boyd Pfeiffer, Best of luck. Vincent C. Mariano, on-the-Yellow Breecher [Yellow Breecher Creek, Pennsylvania], Sept. 6, 1963." Very good plus in good dust jacket. Some loss to dust jacket at head and tail of spine. Rubbing wear and three small tears [two measuring approx. 0.4cm, third one in the middle is approx. 1.5cm] to front cover dust jacket along spine. Lighter rubbing wear to front fore-edge of dust jacket with two small tears [approx. 0.2cm]. Three-cornered tear with loss [approx. 0.2cm x 1.7cm] to rear cover dust jacket at top edge. Small three-cornered tear to fore-edge of rear cover dust jacket. Some rubbing wear with a little loss to fore-corners of dust jacket. Previous owner C. Boyd Pfeiffer's ownership signature at fly-leaf and front dust jacket flap.
