An account of the customs, characteristics, amusements, history and advancement of the Mexicans and the development and resources of their country. Signed presentation from Nevins on the front endpaper, to the future mayor of Toledo, Ohio: "To Chas. M. Milroy, with the compliments of Nevin O. Winter. Toledo, Ohio. Feb. 11th, 1909." Milroy was a prominent lawyer in Toledo and a trustee of Toledo University. He was the city's mayor during 1916 and 1917.
