Signed presentation from Orcutt on the front endpaper: "To Clarice Loreng [?] as a little souvenir of a pleasant afternoon, with the best wishes of the author, William Dana Orcutt. 23 January 1928." William Dana Orcutt [1870-1953] was an American book designer, typeface designer, historian, and author. Along with other important designers and printers, Orcutt helped found the Boston Society of Printers in 1905.
