A fine copy in a near-fine unclipped dustjacket. This copy is the first UK edition by Little Brown--after the 1951 first printing by Heinemann-- signed by Ellis Peters (Edith Pargeter) directly on the title page--signature only without inscription. A tight and clean unmarked fine copy. The dustjacket is unclipped and shows just the very lightest of rubbing to the rear panel or would also be fine. Very scarce signed. Will be packed carefully and shipped in a box.
