Half leather binding by Zabriskie, signed in gilt GAZ to the base of the front paste down, gilt titles to the spine, two raised bands, inner gilt dentelles, with gilt decoration to the corners. Nineteen pages, complete. Black and white illustrations, complete. Many blank pages inserted after the text. George A. Zabriskie (1868-1954) was an American author, president of several prominent baking corporations, and the 22nd president of the New York Historical Society who served from 1939-1947. Approximately 9 inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine very good condition gilt tiles, two raised bands. Joints very good condition rubbed and worn. Corners very good condition gently bumped and worn. Boards good to very good condition minor marks and scratches, half leather, gilt decoration. Page edges good condition top edge gilt, tanned.
