Two book set. Soft suede covers, 165/158 numbered pages. "Of this edition there were printed and specially illumined by hand but Nine Hundred and Forty copies, and this book is No.". Both volumes cracked at ffep but binding firm, pages darkened but clean. Book I: book No. 295, illumined (and signed by) Liva Hong. Wrinkled and torn on ends of spine, chipped along rear top edge, 2 letters in pencil on ffep. Book II: book No. 509, illumined (and signed) by Frances Carmody. Torn on ends of spine, on rear top corner and on rear lower edge, initials in pencil plus previous owner's name and date - "Isabel Mackay, January MCMIII" in beautiful script on ffep.
