1st printing. 8vo. Wrappers. [xii], 388pp. With a front cover quotation by William Gibson. Good only, well worn with, for example, spotting to the edges and creasing to the spine, the inside lower wrapper and final couple of leaves soiled. However, this copy has been signed by the author and inscribed to David (Gascoyne), 'Whose work is always "out there" on any true London walk'; Gascoyne's (unused) printed correspondence card is loosely inserted, and his and Judy Gascoyne's posthumous ex-libris label is affixed to the inside upper wrapper. On pp.151-3 Sinclair describes taking a day trip to visit the Gascoynes. Johnson A113.
