Item description from seller

8vo. 350 pp. Original yellow buckram, front board printed in black with a pictorial vignette of a horseman at a ranch-house door, “Limited Edition” in green, and a facsimile of the author’s signature; spine lettered in black with title, author, a VH device, and publisher. In the publisher’s brown leather-grain paper-covered slipcase. Limitation label, numbered by stamp and signed in blue ink, mounted on the half-title beneath the printed epigraph. Near Fine in a Good+ slipcase. Buckram bright and unfaded, spine included; a small spot to the rear board and faint marking near the head of the front board; corners sharp. Page edges clean. Text block clean and tight. Slipcase rubbed along all edges with several small chips to the paper covering exposing board (notably at an upper corner and along the open edge), small glossy residue spots to one panel and darker staining near the lower edge of the other; structurally sound and still protective. Signed in blue ink “Laura V. Hamner” on the mounted limitation label at half-title. Laura V. Illustrated by Amarillo painter and teacher Dord Fitz. The signed limited issue is the more desirable state.…
