Tsimmu creates for us a delightful cast of characters who aid her in her search to find her place in the world. Coyote, who teaches by sneak attack, constantly reminds her to seize the moment. When she's reading, Coyote comes to steal her pages to line his den. Rabbit, the prankster who says things backward, is always seeking a laugh at her expense. And Grandfather, the quiet spirit of wisdom, comforts her when she is perplexed by life and teaches her to know the world by listening and watching.
Through her personal relationship to nature, Tsimmu brings to light our lost relationship to the land. For her, the world is full of people: the Rock People, the Grass People, the Tree People, the Wind People. The breath of the people is the spirit that animates the world.
Tsimmu writes of the humor, the wonder, the daily adventure of living, all the while searching for clarity and the balance of Earth and Spirit. Her tales of wisdom and beauty in the world will delight readers of all ages for years and years to come.
