Inspired by a poet and therapist's personal battle with addiction, this hardcover collection is more than just a series of stories - it's a tangible embodiment of transformation and hope.
The book itself is a work of art, much like any journey of personal transformation, seamlessly blending hand-typewritten poetry with vibrant colour illustrations. Each page is a lithographic print of an original analogue artwork, reflecting the profound beauty that emerges from overcoming adversity.
Encased in a luxurious hardback binding with gold foil-blocked illustrations, it recalls the timeless craftsmanship of classic cloth-covered books-a rare treasure in today's market.
The book also exists as a series of short films, and an album of piano and poetry, that will launch online over the month of November, 2025. See www.jamesekenward.com to enter the immersive world of live events, recorded music, and film, that accompanies this art-book.
Thoughtfully designed to elevate both art and poetry, Key and Other Poems is not just a book, but a symbol of renewal.
This 1:1 reproduction of the original artworks, scanned at high resolution for lithographic print, measures 20cm x 20cm-perfect for displaying on a coffee table or around the home as a gentle reminder of what is possible to overcome.

About the Author
James E. Kenward's poetry performance on the stage and for the BBC, has been Time Out Critic's Choice and Sony Academy Award-nominated. He made the title poem of his new book into a film starring T. S. Eliot Prize-winner Joelle Taylor, who called working with James 'inspiring'. Kenward regularly voices No. 1 ranking productions for Audible, and The Stage said; 'Kenward shines bright, and is destined for a great future'. When James is not writing or performing poetry he works in clinical and private practice as a massage therapist. His career in the medical field informs his writing.
