1933. First Edition. 112 pages. No dust jacket. Signed by the author. Blue cloth with gilt titles to spine and front. Copy no 107 of 500 copies, signed by Fabes to front endpaper with inscription to author Ralph Mottram. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Gutters somewhat cracked with some exposed netting. Binding is firm. Pencil inscriptions to front pastedown. Foxing and tanning more noticeable towards start and end of book and on text block edges. Text block edges are a little tanned and foxed with minor scratches and notable nicks. Boards have some edge wear, with slight bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are moderately crushed and frayed. Slightly scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Slight water staining to rear. Spine is noticeably sunned. Slightly bowed boards with mild forward lean. Tiny hole to front joint. Seller Inventory # 1740395618MEP

Book Condition very good, corners and spine ends slightly rubbed, offsetting to end-papers, a few light spots to end-papers, pages slightly aeg toned else contents clean. Dust jacket condition poor, nearly all of spine has torn away, front and rear panels held together by 1cm strip of spine which has tape at its back, tear to front fold, small tears to edges, sunned around edges, quite brittle, a few spots,etc, not price clipped.
