Bound in illustrated pale blue wraps with a loose cover and some spine is missing. With an inscription from the author in french with a watercolor sketch of a cityscape and reflection with a large tree in front of it and is painted in different colors attributed to the artist on the half-title page. There is some foxing to the text, although the color plates are largely unaffected.
