First edition, first printing. Signed by Albert Hofmann on the half title page and inscribed to a former owner. xiv, 210 pp. Bound in publisher's black cloth lettered in orange. Near Fine with small marginal staining to several leaves in a Very Good+ unclipped dust jacket with fading to spine, wear and light chipping at spine ends and light staining to upper panel. Light toning and foxing to verso.The memoirs of the discoverer of LSD, a Swiss chemist working for Sandoz Laboratories at the time. Uncommon signed.
