Blue cloth with gilt sp. lettering, clean and unworn but sl. bumping to top outer corners. f/piece + 556, 12 further plates ex-pagination; author's fulsome gift inscription to fr. end-paper dated 15th November 1971, very faint hint of edge-tanning throughout otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Clipped illustrated jacket clean but 2 large chips to bottom fr. edge, further chipping to top sp. and adjacent corners, other sm. chips to bottom fr. spine and top outer corners, also strip of lifting lamination down fr. joint, despite faults worth preserving for text, which is complete though author surname a little affected lower front, will add protective sleeve when ordered. 15.5 xm x 24 cm.
