Item description from seller

This book is a travel and landscape narrative in which Frank Flynn describes the Northern Territory’s vast central regions—often called Australia’s “Dead Heart”—and argues that this seemingly arid interior is in fact a rich, beautiful, and misunderstood “living” heartland. First edition, with dust wrapper, inscribed by the author. Blue boards with gold lettering. Faded and stained top few centimetres of front board. Edges of boards are bumped. Slight browning of page edges and foxing of pages. This book is in fair condition. Dust wrapper is bumped with several small tears and chips (see image). Head and tail of spine sunned and showing general wear and tear. This dust wrapper is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound.
