SIGNED and INSCRIBED by the poet in blue ink on the title-page: 'Mary -- with best wishes, Nov. 1959. Edwin'. Illustrated with three beautiful full page colour paintings by Margaret Nunn. ***Very good in light-blue thin card stapled wrappers with black titles to the front wrapper. Top corner slightly creased - the covers are slightly larger than the page block. The front cover is lightly foxed, otherwise the covers are clean and unmarked. Spine tight. Staples slightly rusted. Internally near fine. Pages clean. No creases or tears. No foxing. 28 pages. 194 mm x 130 mm. ***First impression of the true first edition - signed and inscribed by the author Edwin Stanley James. A very uncommon publication, self-published by the author.
