In the original dust wrapper with front flap price of $3.00. Illustrated with full page line drawings by Gloria Kamen. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED AT THE FRONT BY THE AUTHOR. A heart rending true tale of a joyous girl's youth on a Montana ranch and her sudden death from an unknown virus. A very difficult book to read without a lump in your throat when you finish. Your heart will go out to the author (Mother of the girl). Book with light wear; front cover a bit bent. Wrapper with insect damage along the flap folds and edges. VERY GOOD/GOOD.
