With the scarce "Certificates" leaf at the first page before the title page. This rare copy is SIGNED & DATED on the 2nd. blank page by Charles E. Taft , Co."A" , 21st. Regiment Massachusetts Volunteers, Feb.23, 1867. In ink and signed again in pencil. Taft was a prisoner with Kellogg at Andersonville Prison. A great research book on the Prisons in the civil war. Condition : Very Good With light edge rubs at the bottom spine with bright gilt . A excellent condition square and tight . Size: 8vo - over 7� - 9�" tall.
