Number 23 of limited edition of 35, signed by author. An unbound copy with previous owner name and inscription dated 1925. Soft covers with a wrapper - see photograph. Hand-coloured wood engravings as frontispiece and vignette at rear. The book and paper are handmade and there are vignettes in the unbound text. The book consists mainly of WWI poems and includes notes of explanation about each poem, written by the author. The text has some browning as have the outer leaves and the wrapper has edge wear, some splits and a small piece missing from the bottom of the front leading edge and approx 4cm at the foot of the spine.
