Signed by Stockman on title page and numbered 240/500 with a blind embossed stamp seal from the publisher stating " exclusive signed first editions" and a sailing ship in the middle. Also included is a fine Julian Stockman leather bookmark with a dark blue front (unfinished leather on back) and gold lettering. A fine copy in a fine mylar protected DJ - as new. A beautiful book! About the Author

Julian Stockwin was sent at the age of fourteen to Indefatigable, a tough sea-training school. He joined the Royal Navy at fifteen before transferring to the Royal Australian Navy, where he served for eight years in the Far East, Antarctic waters and the South Seas.
