Octavo. Pp. xi, 435. First Printing. Bound in black cloth with Edward's armorial crest stamped on the front board, gilt lettering on spine. Very Good in original dustjacket, rather worn along the edges with some loss, top corner of rear panel chipped away. ANS inscribed by Edward laid-in. This copy with a presentation inscription from Edward on his crest-embossed stationery, "To Mrs. Ogden Reid, with best wishes from Edward, April 1951."Mrs. Ogden Reid was Helen Rogers Reid, an early suffragist in New York and later editor of the New York Herald Tribune, among many other notable accomplishments. Dust jacket is now preserved in a clear removable archival protector. Inscribed stationery now housed in a clear archival sleeve. Seller Inventory # 7067
