Six piece collection by Kathleen Raine consisting of two hardbacks,two paperbacks and two booklets. [1] The first hardback is a 1952 first edition of The Year One and Other Poems, bound in blue publisher's cloth with silver gilt lettering to spine in fine condition with slight fading to spine. Dust jacket in near fine condition with slight wrinkling to top edges and browning to spine and inner side. Not price clipped. Gift inscription to the first flyleaf, dated to January, 1953 2[2] The second hardback is a 1965 first edition of The Hollow Hill and Other Poems bound in purple publisher's cloth with silver gilt lettering to spine. Near fine condition with fading to spine and very slight rubbing to top and tail of spine. Both published by Hamish Hamilton, London. [3] The first of the two paperbacks is a 1992 first edition of Living With Mystery, Poems 1987-91, bound in cream paper in near fine condition with browning to spine. Small paper bookmark laid in between pages 62/63 and pencilled 'X' to page 62. Newspaper clipping laid in between first paste down and flyleaf. [4] The second paperback is a 1994, first paperback edition of The Presence, Poems 1984-87, bound in beige card in fine condition with three small faint brown marks to front board. Both published by Golgonooza Press, Ipswich. [5] The first booklet is a 1992 first edition of The Kenneth Allot Lectures, No 8, The Vertical Dimension Delivered On 14 March 1991, bound in pink paper. Fine condition with fading to spine. 14 pages of text. Published by Liverpool Classical Monthly, Liverpool. [6] The second is a 1988 signed limited edition of To The Sun bound in yellow paper in fine condition. Number 18 of 200 copies. Raine's signature to page opposite last page of text. 3 pages of text.
