First Edition / Signed Limited Edition. Hardcover. Out of a total edition of 250 copies, this one of 50 hardcover copies SIGNED by Heaney, Hadzi, and printer Gino Lee. This rare issue disappeared before publication. The edition consisted of 50 roman-numeraled portfolios containing original etchings by Dmitri Hadzi. The remaining 200 copies are printed on Mohawk Superfine paper and at The Bow & Arrow Press, and printed by photo-offset. Copies 1-50 (this copy being #20) were specially cased in boards and copies 51-200 were bound in wrappers. Large 4to (9" x 12") cloth boards, hand-sewn. PLEASE NOTE that all our First Editions are also First Printings, unless we specifically note otherwise. All our dust jackets are protected in clear mylar covers. Issued without dj. Fine copy.
