Farrar Straus Giroux. New York. 1965. 339 pages. Tom Wolfe's first book. First Edition, First Printing, stated. SIGNED by Tom Wolfe without inscription directly to front free endpaper. A large, BOLD swirling Dr. Seuss-like signature in marker that Mr. Wolfe also partially colored with a colored yellow pencil. 1st issue DJ with $5.50 price intact on flap. Yellow topstain has a small scuff. White cloth with rust colored endpapers. Minor shelfwear along edges with a touch of edge toning. DJ shows light soiling, most faint staining and a small discolored chip at top of DJ front. Light wear to edges/corners. A very nice, overly tight copy with a large multi-colored signature by Tom Wolfe. Seller Inventory # 000192
