Item description from seller

FIRST PAPERBACK EDITION INSCRIBED. 1 vol., inscribed on the title-page "To Bongo Wolf from C. L. Moore", very mild toning to pages, hinges fine, mild general handling, overall VERY GOOD. Bongo Wolf was a legendary kooky and colorful Hollywood fringe eccentric cult figure of the 60s. His real name was William Donald Grollman. He was the son of a dentist. Longtime horror fan and independent filmmaker Don Glut wrote a story for the November, 1969 issue of "Eerie" magazine named "Scavenger Hunt" that features a weirdo main character patterned after Bongo. Glut also dedicated his book "True Werewolves of History" to Wolf. Bongo appears in the supporting cast of the independent feature "The Wizard of Speed and Time.".…
