Item description from seller

First edition. Softcover. Exhibition catalog for a show that ran August 27 through October 11, 1964 at the Tate Gallery in London and then October 31 through December 6, 1964 at the Kunsthaus in Zurich. Features an introduction by Roland Penrose. Includes 4 color and numerous black and white illustrations. A very good copy in wrappers and from the library of the Marlborough Gallery with their marks. A curious copy as this copy has also been signed by artist William Copley on the rear cover. A very nice copy with an interesting provenance.
