Rare copy of first edition that is bright and fresh. Signed Best Wishes, Jim Ryun on front endpaper and beneath it brief inscription signed by photographer for this book, Rich Clarkson. Otherwise unmarked, tight and square. Excellent story with approx 200 photo's by Rich Clarkson. This was published near the peak of Ryun's career, just after setting the then world record in the mile of 3:51.3. Pictorial boards and dust jacket show an international field at the start of a mile with Ryun , Snell etc. Price intact jacket has 4 minor chips and two short closed tears. Rare in this condition and even more so signed. I have never seen another signed by Ryun. In mylar. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 017733
