Inscribed by Cheri Samba to front free endpaper, dated 2005. 9" x 11" hardcover in laminated boards decorated with glitter. 137pp. illustrated in color. Text in English and French. Clean and well bound, unmarked save for inscription and previous owner's signature to rear free endpaper. Boards with subtle edgewear, and occasional pockmarks to front and rear. Spine cocked ever so slightly. Fore-edge of pageblock with trivial small marks. Interior pages crisp, with spots of soiling / thumbprints to outer margins of first ~35 pages, only rarely within body of text and image. Illustrations vibrant. Lushly illustrated catalogue of the work of Congolese painter Cheri Samba published in conjunction with an exhibition by the same name at Fondation Cartier, Paris, 2004. A special copy of this somewhat uncommon catalogue in very good overall condition.
