Additionally inscribed on the ffep to Harvey from James, dated Reykjavik, Iceland, 1944: "My dear Harvey: Here is a true story for you: it is as true as the law allows. There is no distortion & no exaggeration. Now you'll understand why I want to make a better world."; shelved case 9. The only known book written by James Whittaker. He served as a British Censorship Liaison Officer during WWII.; Luke Harvey Poe Jr served four years in World War II as a Lt. Cdr. with service in both the North Atlantic (U.S.S Symbol) and Pacific (U.S.S. Mississippi).
