Add to basketxvii, 204 p. 23 cm. Cloth. Boards detached, much of spine missing, corners bumped. Worm holes in bottom margins. Presentation copy signed by Talfourd to Sir W. W. Follett on front endpaper. This is the author's best known work. No published for the public until the following year. Talfourd, a judge and MP, was also a member of the literary circle of Godwin, Hazlitt, Coleridge, Lamb and Wordsworth. "W. W. Follett" is probably Sir William Webb Follett, lawyer and politician who was Solicitor-General about the time this book was printed. First Edition of April 1835, without sonnets included in second edition.
