This is the true first edition, first printing (with the Scribner "A" on the copyright page.) ***** This book is SIGNED and INSCRIBED by the author on the front endpage to the US-based, French born Director, Bretaigne Windust. ***** This book is additionally signed and inscribed by three members of the original cast/crew (Richard "Dickie" Whorf -- who added a wonderful drawing and quote, Barry Thompson, and Larry F. Farrell -- who was the Production Staff Company Manager). ***** Interestingly, Bretaigne himself is listed in the original cast (as "Mr. Cherry").***** This play won the Pulitzer Prize in 1936. ***** Nice hardcover with the original dust jacket. ***** There is NO other writing, NO bookplates, and NO remainder marks. It is NOT a book club edition and NOT a former library book. The dust jacket is NOT price-clipped ($2.00). ***** CONDITION: Both the book and dust jacket are in VERY GOOD condition (spine of book sunned; pages somewhat tanned). ***** OUR GUARANTEE TO YOU: All books are guaranteed to be as described. We believe that no sale is complete until you are happy. Any book is returnable for a full refund (including postage) if you're not 100% satisfied. All books are packaged very carefully and shipped via USPS Mail with Delivery Confirmation.***** Thank you! Richard Vick, Modern First Editions (Buying and Selling Modern First Editions since 1982).…
