A superb investment-grade as-new copy, in a like dust jacket, of the first edition. Everything is square and tight, with sharp unbumped edges and corners. Inside the contents are unmarked. Inscribed by Simmons on the title page. "To Phil. All best! - Dan Simmons". As an added bonus Simmons has included one of his characteristic cartoons - in this case of what appears to be The Shrike. The wraparound pictorial dust jacket is unclipped ($18.95), with no discernible wear. It is now protected in a removable archival-quality cover. With a print run of only 2000 copies, this is one of the most sought after of Simmons editions, and survivors in this condition and with these extras are vanishingly scarce. Please see the associated images. All the images for our listings are of the actual book you are purchasing. We do NOT use stock images.
