Editions unknown. Two Volumes. Part 1 is a tall octavo, 50pp.; very good or better in stapled wrappers with moderate wear, a bit of toning, and a tiny cover stain. Part II is a 12mo, 131pp.; glossy wrappers a little rubbed, near fine. Both volumes warmly Inscribed (part II using the full page) by Kaunda to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Labouisse. The recipients are Eve Curie, the daughter of Marie and Pierre Curie, and her husband Henry Labouisse Jr., an important diplomat and longtime director of the United Nations Children's Fund, who accepted a Nobel Peace Prize in 1965 on behalf of UNICEF. Eve won a National Book Award for her biography of her mother. Kaunda was a pioneer in Zambia's fight for independence and served as its first president.
