Beattie Esq. | with the author's compliments' in black ink to title page of first volume. Publisher's handsome green cloth with gilt titles to spine, black tooling, and gilt motifs to the upper boards. Brown-coated endpapers. All edges untrimmed. Gently toned throughout, with some repairs to folding maps, otherwise internally clean. Third volume recently re-cased, with some minor repair to spine cloth; otherwise moderate general wear to cloth. Very good.
