Hardback bound in white cloth-covered boards with title on the spine. Only defects to note on the book is light edge wear. No defects to note on the dust jacket, its original mylar cover has a short tear at lower spine. Dust jacket is illustrated with photos of famous people. The book is INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE EDITOR KEN NEMOTO to former owner. Book has a page of copies of autographs of the individuals featured in the compilation of approximately 36 letters by these historic figures: Hans Christian Anderson; MontesquieuJames Watt; Haratio Nelson; Napoleon I. Bonaparte; Marie Louise; Michael Farady; Victor Hugo; Henry Wadsworth Longfellow; Charles Robert Darwin; Alfred Lord Tennyson; Arthur Conan Doyle; Charles Dickens; Erwin Rommel and others. The letters are in the native language of the writer; but the associated text is in Japanese. There is a section titled "Romance in Letters". Then a section of color illustrations titled "Copt's (or Kuboto) Prayer Book and Spells" and wedge shaped letters in clay.There are miscellaneous loose notes in Japanese including an errata note with correct pages present.
