A history of this neighborhood in Seattle, bounded on the west by the University of Washington and on the south by the water. Vintage photographic illustrations and interesting maps, including one that shows the area's land/residence owners in the late 1800s and others showing plat layouts. Information about early residents, farmhouses, commercial enterprises such as Yesler Lumber Mill, and more. Softcover, 11x8.5 inches, 75 pages. Very good condition, but one set of pages is tanned from where a newspaper article was laid in.
