1st Edition 1955. Flat signed by the author Edmund Hillary to title page. Hilllary's first book and climbing autobiography, recounting his 1953 Everest expedition. Hillary and Tenzing Norgay of Nepal became the first humans to conquer Everest on this journey. Book is very good++ and bright. Contents good. Small name to endpaper. The wrapper is very good and bright. Edges rubbed and nicked. A few small closed tears to edges. Minuscule loss to spine tips. Quite a good example. A More images can be taken upon request.Ref17749.
