Original blind stamped brown double heavy card covers, matching brown lighter weight endpapers, bottom edge of the text block untrimmed. Bound by Kaja McGowan and Ursula Hofer. A practically as new copy, numbered 196 of 250 copies signed in pencil by Seamus Heaney and Claire Van Vliet. This copy also signed in pencil below their signatures by Ann Saddlemeyer, the dedicatee, who gave Heaney the 'run of' Glanmore Cottage for four years. Signed first edition. Brandes and Durkan A18.
