FIRST EDITION. Two SIGNED letters by John May tipped in. Full green clotih with gilt lettering on spine. Book has minimal shelf wear but has been soiled lightly on the front board and there is one spot on back. The first letter is from Jon May dated March 9, 1929 to Alicve Hall Walter explaining that March 5 would be an extremely early date for the Osprey in Rhode Island and finds it more likely that the bird was misidentified. The second item is a archive taped photograph dated Dec 19, 1933 of Bonaventure Island to "Juslise and Bo". Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
