After a promising start, State's basketball season begins to go off the rails with some very un-Chip Hilton like problems. Chip is being roasted in the media in relation to an injury. Meanwhile, Soapy Smith is being roasted in the police squad room in relation to a gas station robbery. That's a lot on Coach Corrigan's plate! This copy is inscribed by Claire Bee to a previous owner on the verso of the frontspiece page. ("To Joe, Claire Bee"). Tweed, 180 pages. First Edition as indicated by Chip Hilton series lists on both the back cover of the dust jacket and the verso of the half-title page listing to this title. Also, original $1 price is intact on the jacket. The book itself has tanning of the page edges , minimal sign of previous use. The dust jacket has edge wear including chips at the top and bottom of the spine. We'll cheerfully provide photos upon request.
