A hand written letter on a single page headed '43 Cloth Fair, London. E.C.1' regarding St Agatha's Church, Sparkbrook, Birmingham. The page is split in two, presumably when the envelope was opened. The letter reads - "Dear Dr Barrow, I'm very sorry I can't come. My one annual holiday is October & I go to Cornwall for that month. I can only send my best wishes to you & to Bidlake's glorious church of St Agatha. Yours sincerely John Betjeman 19/8/67". Envelope not included. Seller Inventory # 003481
