First edition. 8vo. Limited to 500 copies of which this is number 421. Signed by the book's designer Louis Bernard McKee. Pictorial cloth, xxii, 254 pp., map, numerous illustrations, introduction, preface, epilogue, end notes, index. Story written in the mid 1950's when the author was ninety years of age. His life in the West as a cowboy with the Champion Cattle Company in the Territory of New Mexico from March, 1886 to November, 1896, is told in great detail in chapters two through seven. Laid-in is a booklet of cattle brands from New Mexico and West Texas. Fine in transparent dust jacket. Seller Inventory # 48799
