Item description from seller

8vo. Wrappers. 96pp. Cover design by Amanda Welch. 'Much of the work, while not making direct reference to it, reflects his personal experience of psychoanalysis.' This copy has been signed by the author ('John') in the year of publication, with an inscription (although they are not named) to Tom Lowenstein and Brigid MacCarthy. Lowenstein has annotated the book heavily, and loosely inserted are two sheets of illuminating notes written by Welch, these aspects clearly geared towards a review (although making for something of a tired copy).

Store description

Test Centre Books is an online seller of printed and archival materials, particularly books and periodicals. Founded in 2014, we specialise in the British Poetry Revival, the Mimeograph Revolution, and linguistically innovative poetry, although we retain an interest in the underground arts in general. Twice a year we issue a catalogue of new acquisitions, often devoted to the work of a single author. More information is available on our website.
